Helios House

Shepherds Bush

Helios House is an upscale apartment complex incorporated into Television Centre, the iconic former headquarters of the BBC. The architectural designs pay homage to the building's unique attributes, drawing inspiration from light, perforation, and curve. The apartment walls subtly echo the curves of the Helios, a centerpiece of the complex, while innovative perforated screens filter sunlight and enhance privacy. These residences offer spacious, high-end living spaces with meticulous attention to detail, all housed within a revitalized British broadcasting icon, a true testament to mid-century architecture.

CRAFT REINFORCING TVC'S RADII

The design for Helios House is deeply influenced by the original Television Centre's circular structure. The internal walls and brass flooring trim form concentric rings, alluding to the central Helios statue. This approach integrates the iconic features of the building, creating a harmonious blend of modern living spaces within a historic architectural context.

LIGHT, DETAIL, EXPERIENCE

Helios House has a keen focus on materials that allow the recurring brass detail to take center stage. This deliberate choice not only pays homage to Helios, the god of the sun, but also reflects our unwavering passion for harnessing natural light and creating exceptional experiences within architectural spaces. By carefully selecting and integrating this timeless material, we aim to enhance the luminosity of the apartments and establish a seamless visual connection with the iconic Helios statue. Our goal is to create a space that celebrates the interplay between light, materials, and the human experience, ensuring that Helios House becomes a true testament to our dedication to craftsmanship and design excellence.
